Mark E. Roseberry serves as the City of Salem Building Commissioner.
Mark is a life long resident of the community with ambitions
to see Salem and Washington County grow. His intent is to
serve the office of Building, Planning and Zoning with the
needs of the community coming first. While enforcement of
codes and law is a part of the job, Marks desire is to help
your building project go smoothly and to minimize your cost
while maintaining building and fire safety.
Mark brings to the city many years of experience in design
and construction of both residential and commercial projects.
He has experience with most of the newer construction materials
and techniques and has been certified in the design and use
of engineered lumber materials. He has certifications through
the Energy Star building and Touchstone Energy building systems.
His building and code knowledge has been developed from design
of projects in multiple states using many different types
of construction.
Mark has been married to his wife, Marchita, for 31 years
and has three children and five grandchildren all still living
in the area. Mark serves as the preaching minister at 1st
Christian Church in Hanover. He has served on many boards
and organizations, including the Salem School Board as both
a member and its president. He is looking forward to serving
Salem and Washington County citizens as Building Commissioner.
