Hours of operation: Monday through Thursday - 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Tom began working for the City of Salem July 15, 1981. He currently holds the position of Street Superintendent. He oversees the departments many duties, including, repair and maintenance of city streets and alleys, garbage and brush pickup, recycling, mowing of city owned properties, leaf pickup, snow removal, street sign replacement and repair, etc.

Tom has been married 19 years to the former Melissa Nolan. They have lived in Washington County all their lives. They have three children; son Cody is 18 and graduated from Salem High School in 2008 and is attending Indiana University Southeast, daughter Kristen is 15 and is a freshman at Salem High School where she is a cheerleader, son Caleb is 13 and is in the 7th grade at Salem Middle School and plays football.
