on .

Are you looking for something to do on Thursday and Friday evenings? Do you like listening to live music? Then look no further!

The Senior Center has great music every Thursday and Friday evening with several different bands.

The cost to get in is only $3 and the events are open to the public.

Senior Center Director Gail Napier said Mervin Lee, from Borden, is charge of the music and getting bands at the center and he does a great job.

“These bands are so good!” she said. “They really know how to play and everyone really enjoys it.”

The Down Yonder Band plays every Thursday from 7-9 p.m. And on Friday’s, the bands play from 6:30 to 9:30. Bands playing in the month of July on Fridays are: No Name Band, Cross River Band and Paul Smith Band.

“We’d love to see more people out here enjoying this great music!” said Napier.
