Christopher The Christmas Tree Coming to City Hall

Whoot! Whoot! Whoot………come join those from the Salem Parks and Rec., Salem Public Library, Hoosier Hill PACT, Prevent Child Abuse Council, and WSLM Radio along with Whooty the Owl, Christopher the Christmas Tree, and all their animal friends from the Valley of Hidden Hollow. The movie is approximately 30 minutes. Popcorn and other treats will be provided.

The event will be held Thursday December 18, 7:00-8:00pm, 201 East Market Street, Salem City Hall, Council Chambers.

Christopher the Christmas Tree was created by Salem’s own George Bowers. He has performed for thousands of children over the past 40 years. The movie has played in the United States on National Network television, Canada, and other countries. There is a Christopher Christmas Tree planted in DePauw Park, Salem, in honor of the story. It is also a prestigious selection placed in the Library of Congress, Washington, DC.
