Former NFL Player visits Salem on Oct. 15th

David Fulcher, former NFL player, will be coming to the McDonald's in Salem on October 15th, at 7:oopm.

Mr. Fulcher will be available for the players to ask him questions and will be on the air with our three area high school coaches, John Dablow, Phillip Bowsman, and RJ Hartsfield for WSLM Radio’s Coaches Corner, along with our Youth Football Director Bubba Abbott.

He played for the Cincinnati Bengals, LA Raiders, and Kansas City Chiefs from 1986-1994. He now is a football coach and Asst. Principal in Cincinnati and participates in many worthwhile causes.

He will be a guest on WSLM Radio “ on the air” at 6:30pm for their Fantasy Football before heading to McDonalds Restaurant, Wednesday evening.

This special guest is provided to us through USA Football and the Heads Up Football Program, stressing in communities the importance of coaches training especially in concussion recognition and appropriate response, hydration, proper equipment fitting, among other safety issues. The Salem Parks and Rec. also received a grant for additional helmet during the 2014 season from USA Football.

All Salem Park and Recreation Department Youth Football players will be provided a coupon for a free ice cream from Mc Donald’s Restaurant during their visit with Mr. Fulcher. All 12 Youth teams are invited to attend.
