Beck’s Mill Oktoberfest will be Saturday, Oct. 25th. The Beck family came from Germany in 1750. We will celebrating their German Heritage with a festive fall day.
A new demonstration this year will be a horse hair weaver along with some familiar favorites: old fashion apple butter making with the wooden paddles, blacksmithing, wool spinning, wooden cane making, wheel pottery, rope braiding, mock moonshining, Civil War encampment, storytelling, beading children crafts & of course corn milling. Old Stuff band will play tunes from the past. Campfire beans and Beck’s Mill cornbread, The Washington County Artisans Farmers Market and local crafters. Our 3rd annual decorated pumpkin contest will be at noon.
