The City of Salem has announced official trick-or-treat hours for Halloween night. Families are invited to participate on Friday, October 31st, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

To help ensure a safe and enjoyable evening for all, please keep the following in mind:

• Turn on your porch light if you plan to distribute candy.

• Use sidewalks and crosswalks where available.

• Drivers are encouraged to use extra caution in residential areas.

• Parents and guardians should inspect all treats before consumption.
