Registration Extended for Rookie Basketball!

The Washington County Family YMCA has extended registration until Friday, January 4th. Rookie basketball is for any kindergartner through second grader. Yes, you heard right anybody, boys or girls! This year’s rookie basketball schedule has been adjusted and will begin on January 13. Each session’s activities will include stations focused on building fundamental skills while also including play time for teams to face off and practice newly developed skills.    

Volunteers are still needed to lead stations and coach teams.  The YMCA will prepare all volunteers will drills to run at each station as well as an outline of how game play will work.  If you are interested in coaching, please contact the YMCA’s front desk at 883-YMCA.
